about me...

I began my private practice in Chicago in 2011, and have been seeing patients both in-person and online since long before the pandemic began. Now located in southwest Michigan (Saugatuck/Douglas and Grand Rapids), I am hiring, training, and overseeing a team of wonderful therapists in our uniquely transformative 'forward edge' approach. 

My husband, Mark, and I have been developing a psychoanalytic theory for over a decade, and are currently conducting a research study to support it.  Our plan is to develop a network of therapists trained in 'Forward Edge Therapy' so more patients can benefit from our truly transformative approach to this work. We will also be making important information available and accessible to the general public. Stay tuned! 

Project Realize is a non-profit organization that I joined in the Chicago area to provide in-school treatment to at-risk, mostly gang-involved youth. We've now moved the project to Michigan, and broadened the population of people who can benefit from our services.  Mental health services need to be more accessible, and PR makes it more affordable for people in need.
